Most searches on this site allow for parital text searches. If you want to view all building permits between 1 and 99 in the year 2008, you could enter BLD08-000. It would return a list of permits between BLD08-00001 and BLD08-00099.

Most searches do require a minimum number of characters to search. The search for permit by permit number requires at least 9 characters of a permit number in order to search. 9 characters of a permit number is "BLD08-000" or "BLD08-002" etc..
