Dust occuring when using heavy equipment. No water truck observed operating at time of inspection but there is a water trailer onsite.


Notified project manager (Michael) to tell operators to drive slower than 5 mph. Use water trailer during high activity days, have water available to crust down haul routes.

New construction entrance was installed as requested during site prep.

Construction entrance installed. Concrete and masonry lined washout pit located next to job trailer. Covered storage for materials provided, fuel tank has secondary containment. Water truck is spraying down access around the building 2x daily to keep down dust. No dust issues observed at time of inspection.

- post CGP 2017 required SWPPP notifiication and new green COB ESC sign at entrance or on job sign.

Staging area and access road to top of Camel's Back has revegetated well, no erosion or runoff issues observed.

Rock retaining walls have helped stabilized the chute, but areas in between have sparse vegetation growing through erosion control blanket. Some areas of blanket are improperly installed and not trench in at top of slope and perpinducular to slope.

Will check with PW Hillside and Parks n Rec to see if we want to have these installations fixed and a more native mix installed.

Will utilize existing access to building site behind home. Onsite broom staged next to exit for regular sweeping. Downstream storm drain already has an old sediment bag installed with capacity. RP will monitor. Permit sign posted.

Concrete washout provided on flat area at end of drive. Will install sediment control wattles around stockpiles and along the base of access drive where there is a potential for runoff to go over neighbors wall.

Approved for construction.
