Please call Dan at least 30 min prior to inspection, thank you! Phone #: ###-#### Inspection requested via web by Rhonda Marcum - Need access to service and remove equipment above hard lid ceilings. Need a signed letter from the Structural Engineer verifying the top of the hard lid ceiling will be supported enough to use as a working platform as it is. Approved plans show for the ceiling to be framed in 18ga studs, it was installed with 20ga studs. Need to support return air sound boots from the structure above.

Follow up - Went by and spoke with the Genral Manager. Brought him up to speed with what was going on. I told him we would need to pull the PTAC unit out of the sleeve to see if there is fresh air being drawn through the unit. I also said I would like to be there when his maintance guy pulls it out so I can verify for myself. We discussed if there is fresh air coming in disabling the fresh air opening so that we won't be potentially pulling flue gases in through the ptac. The other thing I asked them to do is to install a CO sensor in the room so that if for any reason flue gases got in there and reached a dangerous level any occupants in the room would be alerted. He asked me to please email my recommendations to him so he could send them on to his corporate office for approval. I told him I would get them to him in an email.

Me and Jack met with Brandi the shop owner to discuss the lack of ventilation. She has gone away from installing the pedicure chairs at this point. However she still has multiple nail staions in place that still don't have ventilation in place. I told her I would give her 30 days to get drawings submitted to the city for review and we need to see the system in place and operational within 90 days from today
