Partial final inspection for life fire safety complete, fire sprinkler inspection is complete, fire alarm system drawings need to be updated and resubmitted before final sign off due to the number of changes required to make it code compliant, fire extinguishers have been placed with current inspection tags. Remaining items to inspect for final sign off are:

1. Install permanent signage on stairwells/fire sprinkler riser room and FACP.

2. Provide inspection report for elevator inspection recall and shunt.

3. Update fire alarm drawings an resubmit for approval.

4. Change thumbturn deadbolts on sliding glass doors, level 2, to single action door hardware.


5. Provide a barrier for fall protection on roof top access ladder, stair 3.
6. Provide opening or gates in metal surround by HVAC units on roof for fireman access as discussed.
7. Hose valves on levels 1 through 4 project into the path of egress more than 4 inches, per IFC 1003.3.3, if a horizontal projection sticks out into the path of egress more than 4 inches then gaurds have to be provided if the projection doesn't impede the minimum width for the path of egress. If valves do in fact project into the path of egress, then hose valves will be required to be installed in a recessed cabinet.
