- Conference with Apline Fireplace and Builder about two appliances being installed. One fireplace is a wood burner and the other is a ventless outdoor gas fireplace. Fireplaces are said to not arrive until middle of May and builder wants to move foward with cover. I explained the structural inspector would need to be involved and both fireplaces would have to be left open for inspection. Fireplace contractor is looking into installing the wood fireplace venting through the attic and roof so that portion of venting could be inspected before cover. And the rest of the fireplace below ceiling would be left open on both appliances.
