Dust complaint from neighbor stating dust is really bad. no water truck onsite
No significant dust at time of inspection. WIP on installing sewer and storm water retention facilities. Water truck parked in upper area but was not in use.
Issued warning/reminder to RP Pat, who was on site, to be aware of dust and to have water truck available to spray areas such as haul roads and stockpiles with dust supression water. report of dewatering, check for dewatering plan and setup...
dewatering in progress to place the first sewer connection. RP Jason was not aware of dewatering so requested he make sure that the contractor has a plan and is aware of the discharge water quality standards.
Currently a single pump is drawing water out of ground and discharging into a channel built within site. Water flow to the rest of the site that has a earthen berm perimeter. Plan is to allow water to re-infiltrate rather than disharge. Berm currently retaining water, some water is seeping through and going to the grassy park area.
Issued warning about not pumping or allowing untreated water into the Walling Creek tributary to the Boise River. Will continue to monitor. Onsite contact Kyle stated that after today, dewatering will stop for several days until plans are confirmed.
