(Apartment Units 202, 201 - Fire Damage Repair) This building is NOT fire sprinklered. To repair two units of an existing 4-plex due to fire damage. Work to include: repair of fire and water damaged areas mainly towards the rear of the building near the back bedroom locations of unit 202. Cut the damaged roof truss per the attached engineering evaluation so the damaged half of the roof framing over apartment 202 may be removed and replaced; replace roof sheathing and provide connections for each truss to exterior wall top plate per engineering; provide new truss connections to the exterior bearing wall of apartment unit 201 due to the modified trusses per engineering; provide new roofing; provide a complete remodel of unit 202 including new plumbing fixtures, electrical, and HVAC work; and drywall repairs for unit 201. All work per the approved plans, engineering, and the inspector’s final approval. Additional structural engineering calculations and design requirements may be required as deemed necessary by future inspections and the structural inspector. The installation of smoke alarms must meet IBC Section 907.2.11.2. A certificate of completion shall be issued when work is completed and a final inspection has occurred. **SRZ**
