To convert a 503 square foot former model dwelling unit/office located on the lowest story of an existing apartment building to an exercise facility. Work is to include interior wall infills and upgrading a remote restroom located within the manager's office to be accessible to the disabled. The existing 1-hr fire-resistance-rated floor-ceiling assembly and the existing 1-hr fire-resistance-rated walls that separate this unit from the rest of the building are required to be maintained. The floor system will be altered to support a 100 pound per square foot live load and a new beam will be installed to replace a bearing wall.
