(ABU GAMES) Fire sprinkler system used for building area and story increase. To change the occupancy classifications of a portion of an existing 45,427 square foot 2 story building (33,962 sq. ft. 1st story and 11,465 sq. ft. 2nd story). On the 1st story, a 3,709 square foot area will be used for retail sales and a 3,276 square foot area will be used for storage. The building will have a fire sprinkler system installed in conjunction with this permit. Work includes constructing an 82 square foot fire sprinkler riser room, installing a vertical grab bar, lowering the height of a drinking fountain, and upgrading a curb ramp at accessible parking spaces. Abu Games will occupy the entire building but the public will have access only to the retail sales rooms and the associated restrooms. The existing fire walls are required to be maintained at least at their current level of code compliance. Changing the occupancy classification of other portions of the building will require a separate permit. This building is not approved, under this permit, for assembly occupancies where tables and/or chairs are provided within the room. The height of storage shall not exceed 8 feet. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire sprinkler system will be installed under permit FIR14-00222 and is required to comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the Fire Department. **CJW**
