Permit to turn original existing garage into a Master bedroom, Master Bath and Master Closet. (540 square feet) Existing door from new Garage addition to stay but be improved to self closing, fire rated as required. Two 12' wide openings for existing O.H. garage doors to be removed, new stem wall and footing to be built to code in openings with sill plate and AB as required. The man door from exterior is going to be rebuilt in the same manner. 2x6 joists at 16" o.c. on 2x sleepers every 8' for new floor over 6mil visqueen on existing concrete slab. R-19 between floor joists. min. 3/4" T&G decking (or match existing). Existing walls are 2x4 with R board as installed. New R15 to be installed between in existing exterior walls. R49 to be installed in ceiling. Separate mechanical, electrical and plumbing permits are required. All work to be done according to plans, notes, review notes and local codes. **BJM** Smoke detectors to be installed and upgraded as needed. Electric furnace to be verified that will meet new design loads.
