(BOISE BREWING GRAIN SILO) (DRH16-00168) To install an approximate 1,885 cubic foot silo having a 12 foot diameter (113 square feet) and about 26 feet tall for malt barley storage to be used in beer brewing. The silo will be located on the public sidewalk at Broad Street next to the Northeast corner of the building and next to the alley per a license agreement with ACHD. The silo will have 6 columns and will be attached to a concrete slab on grade. Work is to include a 168 square foot reinforced concrete slab 12 inches thick. Two Hilti Kwik Bolts embedded 3.25 inches at each column base plate (6 base plates total) will attach the silo columns to the slab. Special Inspection is required for soils, for concrete, for anchors post installed in hardened concrete, and for field welding (if applicable). This grain silo will be used to store grain. It shall not be used for human habitation by employees, by the public, or by anyone else. This is a scope of work permit. This permit is not intended to establish a Certificate of Occupancy for any tenant or for any portion of the building. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with all applicable governmental requirements including OSHA regulations, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The silo itself is required to be constructed in compliance with an engineered design done in accordance with recognized and generally accepted good engineering practices. **CJW**
