(MCDONALD’S – EXTERIOR AND INTERIOR REMODEL) (DRH17-00397) (CZC09-00070) This building does not have a fire sprinkler system. To remodel the existing public restrooms within an existing 4,480 square foot restaurant building. Some walls within the restrooms will be demolished and new toilet stalls will be installed. Both restrooms are required to be accessible to the disabled as defined by current standards. The existing customer service counter will be removed and replaced with a new customer ordering counter and a new pick-up counter. A new suspended ceiling system will be installed and a new gypsum board ceiling will be installed in the restrooms. Exterior work includes raising existing wall parapets by 2 feet 6 inches; installing some new exterior wall finishes; installing new R-25 continuous roof insulation on top of the roof deck below a new membrane roof covering; installing drive thru order canopies, a gateway, and menu boards; constructing new concrete sidewalks, curb ramps, and landing at doors; constructing a new sidewalk to the public sidewalk; and moving accessible parking spaces. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the structural design, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. This permit is intended to create a new Certificate of Occupancy for this tenant. **CJW**

Remove the dead bolt on the door between dining and the playland area and also install an exit sign as per the plans, mount the fire extinguisher in the Playland area, repair the two emergency lights in the Kitchen area and finish installing the exit discharge light out the back Kitchen door, install the Occupant Load signs (two). The hood suppression and fire extinguishers are current with inspections.
