(PORTCHE’S FINE JEWLERY) (CSN18-00046) To install a double faced internally illuminated flagmount wall sign that will project from the South exterior wall of the building. The metal cabinet will have a total area of about 13 square feet (4.5 feet x 3 feet) and will project about 5.25 feet from the exterior wall over the public sidewalk below. The obstruction of the public right-of-way is subject to approval by the Planning Division. The sign is required to have at least 8 feet of headroom below it. Polycarbonate faces with vinyl overlays will be provided. Two horizontal square steel tubes (3” x 3” x 1/8”) will support the sign and will extend into the building and be face mounted inside the building to an interior masonry wall using 3/8" bolts epoxied into the wall at 6” on center. Perpendicular square steel tubes and steel braces will also be provided inside the building. The epoxy anchors are expected to generally act in shear. The exterior steel plate is likely non-structural. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the structural design, with the attachment detail, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. Attachments are required to be sufficient to resist all gravity, snow, wind, and seismic loads with appropriate safety factors included. **CJW**
