(APPLIED MATERIALS AND TESTING – TENANT SPACE INTERIOR EXPANSION) The fire sprinkler system is used for building area increase and for fire area. To expand an existing 20,341 square foot tenant space done under permit BLD17-04457 by about 10,175 square feet into an adjacent interior area within an existing 41,146 square foot building constructed under permit BLD17-02765. After the expansion, this tenant space will have a total floor area of about 30,516 square feet. Two sections of the former interior non-bearing tenant demising wall will be removed. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, two toilet rooms accessible to the disabled, a new storefront window system to replace an overhead door, interior doors, interior windows, suspended acoustical ceilings, gypsum board ceilings, and finishes. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. This permit is intended to establish a Certificate of Occupancy only for the expansion area. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 and the fire alarm system is required to comply with NFPA 72 as regulated by the Fire Department. Separate fire sprinkler permits and fire alarm permits shall be obtained prior to beginning any modification or installation work on such systems. **CJW**
