This space was previously occupied by "MJ’s Backhoe & Excavation" under BLD01-00445. NO NEW WORK IS AUTHORIZED UNDER THIS PERMIT. No racking allowed over 8' in height is allowed under this permit. This building was constructed in 2001 under the 1997 UBC. The auto repair garage was classified as an H4 occupancy in the UBC and was permitted without the installation of an automatic sprinkler system. It is classified as an S1 occupancy under the 2015 IBC which would require an automatic fire sprinkler system. Per conversation with the applicant on 09/28/2018 the garage will be used for company vehicles and protection from the elements and no maintenance will be performed on the vehicles.
