(BLUM HAIR SALON – NORTH TENANT – OCCUPANCY) Application for inspection to determine the requirements for the issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy for a 625 square foot tenant space within an existing 1,886 square foot building to be used as a hair salon. No new work is authorized under this permit except for minor work that may be needed to correct noncompliant conditions that may exist. Painting, carpeting, counter tops, shelves, and similar finish work are not required to have a building permit. Compliance is required with the items listed in the plan review report under Referenced Code Sections because noncompliance with these items is believed to constitute a distinct hazard to life and safety. If there are violations that are required to be upgraded, perhaps a temporary Certificate of Occupancy could be considered while those violations are corrected under a separate tenant improvement permit. **CJW**
