(AGRI BEEF – SHORELINE OFFICE BUILDING – 2ND AND 3RD STORIES – REMODEL) The fire sprinkler system is used for story increase. To demolish the nonstructural walls of an existing 400 square foot work room on the 2nd story to expand an existing adjacent open office space. To construct two gypsum board and steel stud walls on the 3rd story to create an 88 square foot nursing mother’s room and a 135 square foot server room from a former 233 square foot room. Work includes two new doors, patchwork, and minor modifications to the ceiling grid. The existing light fixtures will remain. Each new room is required to have occupant sensors with manual switches as required by the 2015 IECC. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. This permit is a scope of work permit. It does not establish a Certificate of Occupancy. Existing approvals are still valid. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 and the fire alarm system is required to comply with NFPA 72 as regulated by the Fire Department. Separate fire sprinkler permits and fire alarm permits shall be obtained prior to beginning any modification or installation work on such systems. **CJW**
