The fire sprinkler scope of work consists of an addition to an existing system. The system is designed with two connections to the existing 2” main which supplies a 2½” main with 2” branch lines as a side feed system. There is also a waiting room and storage room area,

Permit for the construction of a 1,536 sq. ft. addition to an existing 83,449 sq. ft. building with work to include general site work and the construction of the new building housing three vehicle service bays. Minor work will also occur in the existing building including a new high/low drinking fountain along with misc. wall door and related interior finishes per the approved plans. This building is fully fire sprinklered for area increase. Any alterations to the sprinkler system will requires a separate permit and shall comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the fire department. This project includes approved code alternates to the following fire protection systems and/or building life safety systems. Please review the supplemental documents attached to this building permit case for details. Fire protection “shop drawings” shall include approved code alternate design.
