convenience to our customers. Due to the possibility of
unforeseen system errors, we can not guarantee that the
service will be available 100% of the time.
Information provided by e-mail is also available directly from
our main
web site. We suggest that you manually check the site for
information in the event that the PDS Online system goes down.

How to Sign Up
To use these services this site offers, you'll need to go through an extra step after creating your
account. After logging in, click on the Add a Company.
Completing the company setup takes 3 steps.

When you setup your company's services,
you'll have online access to:
- View active permits.
- Pull new permits.
- Schedule inspections.

E-mail Notification Service
Use this service to receive e-mail
notification regarding inspection results.
Messages can be
sent to as many contacts as you wish,
as long as their names have been added to the
Additional Contacts section of your company's inspection services page. |
Text Messaging Service
This optional service will send a text message to your wireless phone
anytime an inspection is completed.
Messages can be sent to as many of your
employees as you wish, as long as
their wireless emails have been added to the
Employee section of the Company's Service page.
Note: This option requires
a wireless e-mail address and a compatible phone to receive
the updates. |
Schedule/Cancel Inspections Online
Once an advanced account has been setup, an account summary page is displayed.
At the bottom of this page is a list of companies the account
is affiliated with. Next to each company is a list of buttons.
By pressing the button "View Active Permits", you can see a
list of all the active permits for this company. If a permit
is active, you can choose to schedule an inspection for the
permit by clicking the "Add Inspection" button to the right of
the permit information. Once you are on the schedule an
inspection page, you can enter the details of the inspection,
confirm that is what you intended, and send it to
PDS.
If you wish to cancel an inspection before it is
completed. Follow the steps above to view the list of active
permits for your company. Find the permit you want to cancel
an inspection, and click the "Cancel Inspection" button to the
right of that permit. Once you click the button, a list of
activities for the permit will be displayed, the inspections
you are allowed to cancel will have a "Cancel" button to the
right. Click the cancel button for the inspection you wish to
cancel, and the disposition of the inspection will be changed
to "CANC", meaning cancelled. Inspections that are already
completed, or have a disposition, can not be cancelled. |
