Clarification by phone that the riser room did not eaist in the location shown but is in adjacent tenant space. The floor area will be filled with compacted material same as other floor areas and the floor slab poured over throughout.

Talked with Pam Deegan & Bran of Western Construction Services concerning resubmittals for the Dollar Tree Store riser room. They said the riser room did not exist in the field but was assumed to be there by the architect during their field visit. The room had bee locked. The riser room serving the entire sprinklered facility is located in the adjacent tenant space. The result of this discovery will be infill of the previous riser room with compacted fill and pouring the concrete floor the same level as the rest of the new floor. The architect is to send a letter explaining the situation and I will red-line the plans to show the detail deleted for theriser room.
