Description
Beginning from an existing 4" supply at the riser, run 180' of 4" out to a new rack system on the south side of the existing structure. The new in-rack sprinkler piping on one level combines with the required flow at the existing roof system. The new design is to protect Group A plastics / Class IV commodity to 20'-0" ht in-rack.
This building is fully fire sprinklered for area increase. The fire sprinkler system work shall comply with the IFC 2003, the attached review comments/conditions, as regulated by the Fire Chief. The review comments/conditions, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code. The BLD attached is BLD07-01403.

Need to fire stop locations where the new main and hose valve piping pass through the riser room walls to maintain the 1hr. rating, missing hangers at one piece of new 4" main, the flow switch has been left mechanicaly disabled and needs to be put back into service immediately-notified contractor this is to be done ASAP.
