A letter from the applicant’s geotechnical engineer indicating that the footing/column subgrade is acceptable has been received by Public Works. A footing inspection may now be scheduled with the Building Department. The applicant will need to comply with MTI’s recommendations listed in their footing certification report and provide compactions test results for the back filled areas under the compromised wall to public works for approval. The applicant will also need to provide to PW an approval letter from the structural designer of the wall (Carl Geiger) approving the wall.

Prior to obtaining a final for the permit, the roof storm drainage system must be inspected by Public Works. Call Melissa Jannusch at ###-####.

The final inspection of the site grading and drainage work shall be done by the design engineer. Written approval shall be submitted to Boise Public Works prior to the issuance of the building final.
