(KIN) (DRH19-00100) **3RD PLAN MODFICATION 6-26-20 TO REMOVE GREEN ROOF FROM SCOPE OF PROJECT **2ND PLAN MODIFICATION 1-17-20 TO MODIFY EGRESS PLAN AND EXIT SIGN LOCATION **1ST PLAN MODIFICATION 12-4-19 to add a rooftop garden system at 1st floor patio/roof framing.**JHB** The fire sprinkler system is used for high rise and for fire area. To remodel a 6,981 square foot indoor/outdoor area formerly used by a bar and grill restaurant to an upscale dining establishment. The total area of the restaurant will be 6,981 square feet (5,135 square feet interior restaurant, 475 square feet interior shared restrooms, and 1,371 square feet exterior patio). There is no change to the occupancy. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, wall furring, half-height walls, interior doors, exterior roof/wall area, dining booths, tables and chairs, fixed benches, drink dispensers, remodel to existing kitchen, new kitchen equipment, suspended acoustical ceilings, gypsum board ceilings and soffits, millwork, and finishes. **Special Inspections** are required for welding, intumescent coating for load bearing columns, and post-installed concrete anchors. The new roof construction has a 1.5 hour fire-resistance rating and new load bearing columns have a 2 hour fire-resistance rating. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 and the fire alarm system is required to comply with NFPA 72 as regulated by the Fire Department. Separate fire sprinkler permits and fire alarm permits shall be obtained prior to beginning any modification or installation work on such systems. **JHB**
