Description
Run 135’ of 8” C-900 piping into an existing warehouse on the south side of Amity Road to soppy an existing pipe scheduled dry pipe system within. The existing under ground supply will be abandoned. The addition a new 6” Back Flow and the further modification of the existing riser is also within this scope of work. The Under Ground supply and Over Head system Stock Components Bldg. #1 was modified in the same manned for the addition of a back flow device. The fire sprinkler underground work shall comply with NFPA 13-2002, NFPA 24-2002 the IFC-2003, attached review comment and conditions list, as regulated by the Fire Chief. These notes, permit and fire “Inspection Card” are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum fire code.

The contractor may proceed on the condition as follows, a complete set of as-built re-submittals are to be submitted prior to final acceptance of this scope of work. It is noted that 10" underground not 6" will be installed leading to the new modified riser locations. The risers will include an approved back flow device forward flow assembly in accordance with NFPA 13 sec. 16.2.5. Red line drawings shall be maintained through the progression of this project for the field inspector's use.
