The fire sprinkler system is used for story increase and for occupancy. To complete the shell work that was started under expired permit BLD05-00128. The existing work was inspected and approved under that permit, even though that permit was later expired. Work is to include guards, handrails, and completing work originally approved under permit BLD05-00128. This permit does not establish a Certificate of Occupancy for any tenant. Each tenant, including the 2nd story dwelling unit, is required to apply for and to be issued a separate permit. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. Separate electrical, plumbing, and mechanical permits are required. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the Fire Department. CJW

Jay is requesting a partial final for exterior life fire safety, property has an active fire sprinkler system, property has an active fire panel, final inspection is for exterior no fire extinguishers are required for exterior. Temporary construction fencing in place at time of inspection which cannot stay in place when property is occupied. When building becomes occupied the fencing needs to be removed or a gate with impact/single action hardware will need to be installed.
