(IDAHO PIZZA COMPANY – HILLCREST SHOPPING CENTER – PAD BUILDING) (5-1-17 PLAN MODIFICATION TO REVISE THE DRAWINGS TO SHOW THE ACTUAL ORIENTATION OF THE EXISTING ROOF JOISTS AND TO PROVIDE STRUCTURAL DETAILS TO REINFORCE ELEMENTS OF THE ROOF STRUCTURE TO SUPPORT ROOF TOP EQUIPMENT, STRUCTURAL DETAILS TO REINFORCE AROUND ROOF OPENINGS, AND STRUCTURAL DETAILS TO SUPPORT THE KITCHEN HOODS.) A fire sprinkler system will be installed in conjunction with this permit and will be used for occupancy. To convert a former 5,922 square foot retail sales building to a restaurant. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, 2 restrooms accessible to the disabled, a new exterior door, exterior landing, exterior ramp, a grease hood (Type I) and grease duct system with 2 layers of duct wrap for allowed clearance reduction to combustible materials, a dishwashing hood (Type II) and duct, kitchen equipment, and interior finishes. Special Inspection is required for welding. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, with the structural design, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The suspended ceiling grid is required to be maintained in compliance with the code in effect when it was installed (i.e. 1988 UBC). The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 and the fire alarm system (no horns or strobes required) is required to comply with NFPA 72 as regulated by the Fire Department. Separate fire sprinkler permits and fire alarm permits shall be obtained prior to beginning any modification or installation work on such systems. **CJW**

Inspection was actually for a conference. Multiple exit signs and emergency lights need repaired and or added. Need correct occupant load signs, need project related fire alarm and fire sprinkler permits finaled. Could not find a hood suppression permit.
