(UNIT 401 – ASPEN LOFTS – TYPE B DWELLING UNIT) The fire sprinkler system is used for high rise and for occupancy. To convert an existing 343 square foot maintenance room with a toilet room located on the 4th story and constructed under shell permit BLD06-02303 to a residential Type B dwelling unit and to expand it by about 81 square feet to a total floor area of about 425 square feet. This dwelling unit is required to comply as a Type B dwelling unit. The toilet room, toilet, toilet room sink, shower, kitchen sink, kitchen appliances, and kitchen cabinets are required to comply with Type B dwelling unit accessibility to the disabled provisions. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 and the fire alarm system is required to comply with NFPA 72 as regulated by the Fire Department.
