The fire sprinkler system is used for building area increase, for fire area, for fire flow, and because it is an aircraft hangar. This aircraft hangar is not approved for painting operations. The hangar that was formerly at this location was relocated under permit BLD18-03446. To construct a new 29,423 square foot pre-engineered steel building to be used as a Group II aircraft hangar on property leased from the City of Boise. Work is to include concrete pier spot footings, concrete piers, concrete continuous footings, concrete stem walls, tension tie grade beams, concrete slab on grade with hairpins, steel moment frames, steel rod cross bracing, steel purlins, metal roofing, metal siding, an R-30 liner system for roof insulation, R-25 exterior wall insulation, interior toilet rooms and office, a floor above the toilet rooms and office used for mechanical equipment and served by a ladder surrounded by a guard, bi-fold hangar doors, overhead door, side-hinged swinging egress doors, interior window, exterior horizontal sliding window, and finishes. Special Inspection is required for soils, for concrete, and for steel (including welding and bolting). The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the structural design, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the Fire Department. Separate fire sprinkler permits shall be obtained prior to beginning any modification or installation work on such systems. **CJW**
