(MERRY MAKERS MARKET – OCCUPANCY – GARRO/CARROLLS BUILDING – 1ST STORY)(TEMPORARY OCCUPANCY UNTIL DECEMBER 31ST 2018)The fire sprinkler system is used for story increase. Application for inspection to determine the requirements for the issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy for an existing 2,024 square foot retail sales tenant space located on the 1st story of an existing building. One exit door is directly to the outside at grade. Interior nonbearing walls within this tenant space were removed under permit BLD17-02285. No new work is authorized under this permit except for minor work that may be needed to correct noncompliant conditions that may exist. Painting, carpeting, counter tops, display shelves and racks 8 feet or less in height, and similar finish work and furniture are not required to have a building permit. Compliance is required with the items listed in the plan review report under Referenced Code Sections because noncompliance with these items is believed to constitute a distinct hazard to life and safety or to discriminate against the disabled. The core restrooms are required to be maintained available and usable by the occupants of this tenant space at all times. Racks or shelving that exceeds 8 feet in height require a separate permit. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the Fire Department. **CJW**
