(A HELPING HAND – OFFICE TENANT IMPROVEMENT- BENJAMIN PLAZA) The fire sprinkler system is used for building area increase. To create a 1,012 square foot tenant space from an existing 5,683 square foot space (a 1,012 square foot space and a 4,650 square foot space will be created). This permit is intended to establish a Certificate of Occupancy for the 1,012 square foot tenant space. Work is to include a new wall in a doorway between the two tenant spaces, finishes, and lever hardware on the toilet room door. The toilet room is required to be maintained accessible to the disabled as defined by the 1991 UBC (i.e. the 1992 ADA). The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 and the fire alarm system is required to comply with NFPA 72 as regulated by the Fire Department. Separate fire sprinkler permits and fire alarm permits shall be obtained prior to beginning any modification or installation work on such systems. **CJW**
