(EIGHTH AND UNION) PLAN MOD TO KEEP A DOOR IN THE LOWER LEVEL AND CONSTRUCT TWO INTERIOR NON-LOAD BEARING WALLS TO CREATE A CLOSET ON LOWER LEVEL. Permit to remodel an existing legal non-conforming 3,658 sq.ft. fourplex. Work to include: removal of select interior non-bearing walls, opening and header in load bearing wall see structural engineering, removal and replacement of all plumbing fixtures, removal and replacement of cabinetry and interior finishes, reconfiguration of space in each dwelling unit. Any openings created between units shall be fire caulked to mitigate the transfer of smoke and gases. New penetrations in the existing floor/ceiling assembly must maintain fire rating. Any modification to existing fire rated assemblies shall be repaired back to maintain the original assembly rating.
