Work Scope: UG & OH: Federal Way Building #5 (Shell Only) - To construct a new 24,250 square foot, one story, concrete tilt-up office/warehouse and related site improvements. This is a shell permit only and no occupancy is allowed under this permit. Separate tenant improvement permits will be required to finish this building for occupancy. all construction per the approved plans and attached comment list.
UG Scope: Beginning from an existing 12” water line and an 8” NRS road box off of McGregor Drive, run 298’ LF of 8” C-900 pipe out and rise up into a new 24,250-ft/2 building with ductile iron. The UG installation shall conform to the applicable NFPA standards.
OH Scope: Beginning from an existing supply and an 8” flange located at the mid bldg. East side, install a 6” wet riser and wet pipe system to serve through out the entire bldg. The system is designed to Ordinary Group II for shell protection of the spec warehouse space designed to protect Class I – IV commodity up to 20’ in a palletized solid pile, bin box or shelf storage arrangement. The designer has included a 300 gpm allowance for a future rack system. Any future rack system shall be submitted separately from this permit. According to the general notes submitted, there will be no storage with in the warehouse until a tenant moves in.
The fire sprinkler system work shall comply with the IFC 2006, the attached review comments/conditions, as regulated by the Fire Chief. The review comments/conditions, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code. This permit is attached to BLD07-02855.

Noted several spacing issues at the SW branch line adjacent to the overhead doors, missing PRV at the riser, trapeeze hanger at the last piece of 6" main is overspaced, FDC piping is missing hanger support and bracing at the vertical run, noted added head at the electrical room, provide riser tags, signage, DCVA certification, and complete forward flow testing in conjunction with riser supervision. Site inspection completed 9/9.
