The Fire Sprinkler Scope of work consists of providing a new dry pipe system with 6” underground (permit FIR11-00247) for an existing building with a new extension. The system will extend into the attic, where attic sprinklers are being utilized. The system is a double tree with 3” mains and telescoping branch piping. A 4” riser with 4” backflow preventer will be provided. The building is divided into three sections (separate by 1 hr walls), a shop area, a tire storage area and tank room with class IIIB flammable liquids
Ada County Highway District Tire Shop Expansion - To demolish and remove two small sheds and construct a 1,545 square foot, one story, masonry wall and wood framed tire shop expansion and related site improvements. The expansion will be located on the west side of an existing 1,535 sq. ft., one story shop building. The expansion will include a 1,030 square foot, tire storage area, a 185 square foot break room with an attic access floor above and a 330 square foot, tank storage room. This permit also includes updating the lighting at the existing shop building. All construction per the approved plans and attached comment list. JCM

Todays inspection was only for the attic sprinkler head lines. The rough-in on these were fine except Rick had to adjust the vertical elevation while I waited. I also posted a stop work order and a parcel hold due to the installation of sheet rock prior to approval and the installation of the sprinkler system at the west end of the building.
