Danielle with the propertry management company and I discussed getting the FIR12-00433 finaled prior to a final sign off on BLD15-03739. With Scott Arellano's permission the tenant can receive a temporary occupancy for 30 days while the contractors work towards getting the FIR permit finaled.

The first hvac unit tested did not shutdown upon activation of the duct smoke detector so no others were tested. The DSC communicator installed is not the model number in the submittal package and will need to be submitted for approval. As-builts and map do not match the actual installation with additional devices shown that have not been installed and addressing changes. The sprinkler systems devices did test ok and the correct signals were received at central station.

The approved "plan modification" drawings are not provided, pull station is too high, batteries are too small, sample tubes are too short (per silent knight tech support), need as-builts showing the deleted devices, per conversation only one of the hvac unit shuts down immediately upon detection of smoke. No actual testing was performed.

I left a voice mail for Anita at ESI requesting job status and then I spoke to Buster at RME and he stated that there is a monitoring problem that they are waiting for ESI to resolve. I will speak to Anita when she calls.
