The fire sprinkler scope of work consists of 6” underground with a yard PIV to a 6” backflow preventer through a 6” riser to a 3” feed main supplying a 3”x2½”x1¼” grid.

A fire sprinkler system will be installed throughout this building in conjunction with this permit and will be used in lieu of rated corridors and to allow unprotected openings in the West exterior wall. To remodel an 11,830 square foot area within an existing 23,200 square foot one story building for a new classroom tenant space for students above the 12th grade. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, 2 multi-user restrooms accessible to the disabled, an exterior concrete ramp accessible to the disabled, and platforms for new roof top HVAC units. Three new roof top HVAC units will be provided. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The entire building will have a fire sprinkler system installed in conjunction with this permit. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 and the fire alarm system is required to comply with NFPA 72 as regulated by the Fire Department.
