[Altitude Trampoline Park]
The fire sprinkler scope of work consists of protecting a trampoline park. The riser is being reworked to provide a backflow preventer. There are some miscellaneous areas being added and protected with pendent sprinklers. The system is a 4”x3”x1½” Grid with LO sprinklers. The majority of the piping is exsiting.
This project is a change of use. The project has to be made to comply with current the code.

The fire sprinkler system is used for unlimited area of the building and for fire area. To remodel an existing 44,436 square foot tenant space located within an existing 82,000 square foot building for a new assembly occupancy (the former use was retail sales). Interior nonstructural demolition work was done under permit BLD18-01355. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, insulated wall furring at an exterior wall, two expanded multi-user toilet rooms accessible to the disabled, a single-user assisted-use toilet room accessible to the disabled, an elevated platform about 36 inches tall, an elevated platform about 62 inches tall, 3 interior ramps accessible to the disabled, 3 interior stairways, handrails, foam pits, trampolines, elevated platforms at jumping mats, guards, interior doors, interior windows, suspended acoustical ceilings, millwork, and finishes. The elevated platforms will be constructed of steel studs and steel joists with fire-retardant-treated wood floor sheathing. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the structural design, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. This permit is intended to establish a Certificate of Occupancy for this tenant. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 (including quick-response heads and foam pit sprinklers) and the fire alarm system is required to comply with NFPA 72 (including a voice alarm) as regulated by the Fire Department. Separate fire sprinkler permits and fire alarm permits shall be obtained prior to beginning any modification or installation work on such systems. **CJW**

This project includes approved code alternates to the following fire protection systems and/or building life safety systems. Please review the supplemental documents attached to this building permit case for details. Fire protection “shop drawings” shall include approved code alternate design.
