We discussed the installation of 4" dryer duct in the walls and I indicated the wall framing needs to be at least 4" wide. I also noticed that there may need to be fire/smoke dampers for the exhuast penetration into the rated shaft on the dwelling units. I am going to discuss the issue with the plan reviewers. Also going to discuss with them the use of sub duct design for domestic dryers.
