Noticed that the exhaust fans on the 1st. and 2nd floors are being installed in between the tgi"s, this is a fire rated assembelly and will need fire dampers installed at fire asseembelly penetration. The city plans also show a transfer above door on on 2nd. flioor laundry room. This has a smoke damper on it, It looks like when installed it will also penetrate inside the tgi"s of the laundry room which will require protection of the assembelly where it is penetrated in the ceiling of the laundry room for the grill.
