FIR05-00712 INSP-Final Inspection1/19/20061/20/20061/20/2006 11:54:58 AMAFAIL
The following items were noted:

1) Phone lines have not been verified.
2) One phone line for two FACPs (1 FACP for Phase 1 and the existing FACP is for Phase 2) The existing FACP will be in service for ~ 2 weeks, therefore I told them to have 3 phone lines for the 2 panels, a dedicated line each and one to share as the second line.
3) Pull station at front desk mounted too high.
4) Requested information regarding the sounder bases for the room smokes, I was told they are a constant tone. Per 72, they need to be temporal.
5) Elevators being tested as I arrived.

3. The anti-freeze riser needs tagged with an approved state Fire Marshal tag AND all antifreeze control valves, drains and auxiliary drains shall be provided with signage per NFPA 13-6.7.4*. Include hydraulic calculations sign for each design area per NFPA 13-16.5*. 2. Elevator equipment room will require another sprinkler head. This head will need smoke detection located per NFPA 72-6.15.4.2. (NFPA 72-6.15.4.1*)
