The door hardware has been installed backwards. All other items are ok.
FIR09-00707 INSP-Sprinkler Rough-in1/28/20101/28/20101/28/2010 4:05:51 PMPPART
See the city approved plans for locations marked "ok" in red where piping can be covered. Part of todays inspection included the new system at the west end of the building. Here I found at least two additional sprinkler heads added in the remote area and per the plans the pendant heads in the attic area are mounted on the branchlines. As installed there are two 90 elbows and 1" piping between the branchline and the pendant heads. This occurs in the remote area. I spoke to John on site and Jeff in Treasure Valley Fires office about the need for resubmittals or at the very least contacting Tim Frost with plan review.

FIR09-00719 INSP-Alarm Testing1/27/20101/28/20101/28/2010 3:38:51 PMAPASS
Permit finaled. I stopped at this project several times and found that an external antenna was required to get the required NetCon 5 signal. Data input at the monitoring station had to change zone 2 tamper switches from trouble signals to super visory signals.
FIR09-00666 INSP-Final Inspection1/22/20101/28/20101/28/2010 1:04:14 PMAPASS
Permit finaled. I noted that when the sprinkler system tamper switches are closed all of the a/v's activate. Also when the main FACP batteries are disconnected no trouble signal is announced on the FACP and when they are reconnected the panel does a restart. Per Steve with SimplexGrinnell the tamper switch behavior will be corrected asap. Stephanie with the city of boise is doing further research on the battery/panel restart issue.

Permit finaled. The AES was reporting a trouble condition to the FACP as a supervisory but Steve fixed that while I was on site.
