Contractor hired to investigate electrical of residence. Verify grounding electrode system, ground rod has 26" not driven, should correct.
All grounding type receptacle outlets installed on ungrounded circuits to be GFCI protected or changed to 2 wire receptacles.
Garage furnace has exposed conductors feeding it, will remove branch circuit and replace correctly if requested.
Will remove any flexible cords running in or on or through walls and ceilings.
A large garage area has many areas with expose old cloth type ungrounded wiring and NM cable run through walls and ceilings. Many conduit runs without being properly supported and secured.
Looks like previous owners have installed a lot of wiring without permitting or inspections.
Contractor to be very specific with documenting work performed.
