See city approved plans for strobes that are overspaced. Need to retest after strobes are relocated. Main panel received trouble signals from the new NAC. I noticed that the existing strobe circuits on the 3rd, 4th and 5th floors that are controlled from the 3rd floor janitors closet have an after market "light switch" that can shut off strobes mounted in a fire alarm panel.
FIR05-00634 INSP-Final Inspection10/25/200510/27/200510/27/2005 12:08:23 PMAFAIL
Inspection was a complete waste of time. Contractor said monitoring was set up at the beginning of the inspection, but after inspecting everything come to find out it wasn't. Up until this point we just couldn't verify batteries were the correct amp hour, duct detectors are not wired for shut down. Need to retest everything.
FIR05-00645 INSP-Final Inspection10/26/200510/27/200510/26/2005 4:15:27 PMAPART
A temporary occupancy was given until the fire alarm plans have been approved. Duct detector was tested and passed. Remote annunciator worked and signal was received at the central station.
