Project is not ready for final inspection. The sprinkler plans need to be resubmitted. The fire alarm plans need to be resubmitted. I did check the emergency lighting/exit signs per the approved plans and found existing devices non-functional and one new emergency light not installed. Contractor and I discussed the placement of the K type fire extinguisher at the kitchen hood. I also noted an outstanding FIR permit that is in the "ready status" that needs to be addressed.

I stopped at the job site after noticing the new canopy being faced with wood. I found that the sheating is fire treated with all pieces stamped.

Provide city approved plans for inspection, provide access to all rooms. I noted that the thumbturn lock will need to be removed at the tenant door and the sticker provided. I also spoke to Carissa about providing code compliant hardware for the double doors at the building main exit/ground floor.
FIR12-00431 INSP-Final Inspection10/29/201210/29/201210/29/2012 3:10:20 PMPFAIL
All items tested except for the smoke detector over the main facp, duct smoke detectors and all notification items. Plans need to be resubmitted showing the correct NAC panels installed, audio/visuals have been added, candellas have been changed, audio/visual devices are overspaced and some are mounted too high. The manual pull station is mounted too high as well. Signals were verified through the Peak Alarm guard at the gate.
