Final inspection of fire sprinkler systems for Bldg. K, including wet and dry pipe systems, and fire alarm interface, including water flows, tampers, wet and dry pipe flow tests, completion of 24 hour air test of dry pipe system. All tested OK. Dry pipe system did not activate exterior alarm bell when tested, but this was corrected. Design placards need to be installed on risers.

Rough to cover inspection for fire service underground supply line (south side) for the convention center fire sprinkler systems. A portion of the supply line was sleeved as it passed through a foundation wall.
NOTE: Supply line changed from permit set of plans, showing a change in layout - thrust blocks added for these changes as required. OK to cover pipe.
NOTE: Contractor accepts the risk of burying pipe prior to hydrostatic test.

Fire alarm system test of wings F & G, including all unit SDs. corridor SDs, manual pulls, notification devices (audibility), FSDs, elevator recall functions, etc. All tested OK. Two unit SDs had to be reprogrammed to activate correctly.
NOTE: All fire sprinkler system testing completed with wing F &G.
