11:00 am - Had another inspector report that there could possibly be issues with the HVAC install on this project. I reopened the permit and went and met the mechanical contractor and the owner on site. They have turned the sunroom into a shower room. currently there is supply grills installed on the floor and a return grill in the room. I explained to them that we can't have the floor registers in the shower area, and we need to remove the return grill from the shower. they are looking at a couple diffrent options to try to seperate the shower area from the rest of the room. additionally they have a ducted return grill in the bedroom where they have built a bathroom without seprrating it from the bedroom so I explained to them that we can't pull ducted return air from the room because of the bathroom. They are looking at the redesign options available to them. I instructed them to have new drawings submitted to the city of Boise.
