Fire and life-safety inspection for Wing E, including exit signs and emergency exit lighting. Need to add an exit sign at the east end of the egress corridor (all floors) directing residents to stair F1 (separation stair between wings E & F). Some other exit signs did not light on battery. A retest will be conducted after these changes are made.

Fire Life safety inspection of a small portion of garage 2, near the elevator lobby and portion of the storage room under wing E. Exit signs and emeregency lighting not tested this visit. Garage doors from the elevator lobby and stairwell to be signed prohibiting resident access to this garage, which is not ready for use at this time.

Trip test of dry pipe valve for wings EF&G attics, including low-air alarm, tamper and pressure switch - all tested OK.
NOTE: Elevatorfor wing E was not tested - recall functions not operating due to some fault in the elevator system. Will retest after elevator is functioning properly.
Note2: There are a couple of FA devices at the separation between Wing E & F, that need to be functional for TCO of wing E. Contractor agreed to rewire these devices to make them operational for Wing E TCO.

Trip test of dry-pipe system protecting the attic spaces above wings E, F & G. The system failed its test yesterday, so the contractor installed an accelerator to improve its activation. Retest passed - water delivered within 60 seconds.
