After confering with Tom Gainer from BFD Tony Young and I reviewed the fire damaged structure. The main coridoor were fire originated had consumed all electrical meter packs, fire alarm panel for the entire building and the egress components of 12 cental dwelling units. Six dwelling units (12 total) on east and west sides suffered only smoke damage and egress components were still intact and unaffected, however, no electrical power or alarm capabilites are available. Entry to the east and west ends should be allowed for tenants to retrieve personal belongings. Central dwelling units are not accessible until such time that stairways have been reconstructed and structural integrity of roof and floor assemblies have been verified.
