Fire alarm and fire sprinkler permits need to be finaled first. Life safety is ok to final when that is done.
FIR06-00222 INSP-Final Inspection12/15/200612/18/200612/18/2006 4:26:35 PMPCANC
Per fitter the job is not ready for inspection. I notified him per my previous inspection entry that resubmittals were going to be required and that the computer showed no record of that being done.
FIR06-00955 INSP-Sprinkler Rough-in12/15/200612/18/200612/18/2006 4:25:19 PMPFAIL
Pipe sizes as shown on the plans, in the locations marked, do not match the piping as installed. Pipe needs to be changed or these changes need to be proven with revised hydraulic calculations when the as-builts are resubmitted as per the review comments. There are other deficiencies also marked on the plans. Piping is not to be covered.

FIR06-00824 INSP-Final Inspection12/15/200612/18/200612/18/2006 12:13:00 PMAFAIL
Resubmittals may be required. See rough-in inspection entry.
FIR06-00824 INSP-Sprinkler Rough-in12/15/200612/18/200612/18/2006 12:12:04 PMAPART
Sprinkler piping rough-in inspection for the most part passed. There are two locations where there are issues. The first is in area #2 on the roof where the plans show the piping to be 2" but 1 1/2" is installed. The second problem is also in area #2 where the piping is supplied from the lower level. The plans indicate a single tie in to a 2" branchline but as installed the piping has two tie in points for a rudimentary loop. This will require a resubmittal for plan review to verify the calculations.

Wet system sprinkler piping is ok to cover except the three areas where the earthquaking still needs to be installed.
