All of the a/v's were tested. See the city approved plans for one that did not work and will need replaced and retested. When we started testing the smoke detectors I found that the operation of the smoke detectors in the middle of the corridors did not match the alarm matrix which showed their operation releasing the doors. As programed now only the smoke detectors near the doors are releasing the door hold opens. This would be ok but not all of the smoke detectors are with in 5'-0" of the doors as required. The inspection was stopped until a decision is made on how the smoke detectors are going to function.
