I went over the out standing correction items with the general contractor. I let him know that per the plan review comments exit signs and emergency lights are not required but if installed them must function. So he has the option of repairing them or removing them.

This inspection was for a follow up test of the first floor sprinkler piping. It failed again due to a visable drop on the pressure guage. I found what appears to be the leak at the cpvc cplg just above the "redi riser".

This is an oh hydro and rough in. The first and second floor overhead piping rough-in is passed. Piping can not be covered yet because the tenting has not been performed yet. The riser assemblies have not been inspected yet either. Per Robert the supply piping to the risers is going to change. The hydro test was just for the first floor since the second floor blew apart. After two hours I had to fail the first floor hydro test due to a visable drop on the pressure guage. I agreed to come back in another two hours to redo the test.

I posted a stop work order due to the installation of a fire alarm system without a permit. Electrician verified wire is fire alarm. There is no attached FIR or one to be found under a parcel search. I verified with plan review as well. I left message for the builder, Pat, at ###-####. Pictures of the work including the posted stop work order to the fire alarm plans examiner.
